Zutter Blog Hop
Welcome to the Zutter Spring Fling Blog Hop. My favorite thing about spring is seeing all the flowers coming to bloom so I decided to make something bright and cheery and flowery for my house. I started with the basket making a template myself then using the Bind-It-All to make punches on each side and threading ribbon through the holes to join it together. I attached a large strip of paper to either side of the basket with the Rivet Setter & Hammer, some Rivets, and the Pound-It-All to form the handle.
For the flowers I used a couple of different ideas I found on the internet. The larger ones are called box flowers and I used the Rivet Hole Punch Set and Rivets to attach the two size flowers together and wrapped O-wires with ribbon to create the stems. I also used the Bind-It-All to create the grass. I took a strip of green cardstock and punched along one edge then used my scissors to cut down to the holes the machine made.
For the title on the front I used a 3x4 acrylic cover and rounded the corners with my Round-It-All and added a piece of patterned paper to the back. I sprayed the chipboard letters with Glimmer Mist to match the color of the patterned paper then glued them to the acrylic and added it to the front of the basket.
Thanks for dropping by today! To be entered in the draw for one package EACH of the two colors of the new Hang-it-Alls and package of the Rivet Hammer/Setter Set please leave me a comment and I will draw a winner March 29th.
Now hop, spring, or just click your way over to the next blog for another chance to win.
