Design Team Challenge

My April Design Team Challenge is up over at Scrapbook Star. My challenge is to alter your letter stickers. Here's my layout.

It's amazing to me that on Mike's side of the family there are 4 generations! In the photo are GGMA (she rocks), Madeline, Mike, Rhys and Linden. In the other photo Auntie Barb and I managed to sneak in.

Zutter Blog Hop

Welcome to the Zutter Spring Fling Blog Hop. My favorite thing about spring is seeing all the flowers coming to bloom so I decided to make something bright and cheery and flowery for my house. I started with the basket making a template myself then using the Bind-It-All to make punches on each side and threading ribbon through the holes to join it together. I attached a large strip of paper to either side of the basket with the Rivet Setter & Hammer, some Rivets, and the Pound-It-All to form the handle.

For the flowers I used a couple of different ideas I found on the internet. The larger ones are called box flowers and I used the Rivet Hole Punch Set and Rivets to attach the two size flowers together and wrapped O-wires with ribbon to create the stems. I also used the Bind-It-All to create the grass. I took a strip of green cardstock and punched along one edge then used my scissors to cut down to the holes the machine made.

For the title on the front I used a 3x4 acrylic cover and rounded the corners with my Round-It-All and added a piece of patterned paper to the back. I sprayed the chipboard letters with Glimmer Mist to match the color of the patterned paper then glued them to the acrylic and added it to the front of the basket.

Thanks for dropping by today! To be entered in the draw for one package EACH of the two colors of the new Hang-it-Alls and package of the Rivet Hammer/Setter Set please leave me a comment and I will draw a winner March 29th.

Now hop, spring, or just click your way over to the next blog for another chance to win.

Coca-Cola Rocks!

So I was working at Granville Island a few days ago and Coca-Cola had their headquarters there during the Olympics and they were packing up to go home. A few of them came into the post office to send off presents and one of their amabasadors from the United States (I didn't get his name) came in with a signed hockey stick from Luongo and we got to talking about how much I love Coke. Well he left and came back with a Coca-Cola Olympic pin for me. How sweet!

Glitter Glitter Everywhere

On my clothes and in my hair!

At work yesterday I was doing a Class-A-Peels and Be Breative Glitter make and take and came home covered in glitter. I think I even got some up my nose. Here is a card I made playing around.

Have a great day!

Bind-It-All

The March projects are up at the Zutter website and once again they are amazing! Check them out here.

Here's a peak at one of mine made for a friend. This year at Savary my son slice open his toe and had to get stitches and my friends son was so awesome with Linden and pushed him around in a wheelbarrow for the rest of the trip. This was my way of thanking them.
