A fun background for cards

After creating some fun layouts this month I ended up with a whole bunch of strips of paper with hearts punched out and decided to use them to create a fun background for some cards.

 

I layered the strips of paper with the hearts on top of each other so the colors showed through the heart shapes.

Since the background was so busy I kept the sentiment simple layering it on cardstock and hand stitching around it.

 

To finish it off I added a fun cork heart.
