This Midori Madness episode is all about dance. My youngest is in company/competitive dance (as seen on Dance Moms lol) and I wanted to make a Midori for all his competitions and just a place to hold all the amazing recitals and events that they do, These kids are like a little family and we both love hanging out with them and they push each other to be better.
You can see the video on my channel here -
I am using this super cute fabric Midori I bought from Love Neen on Etsy her Midori's are so beautiful and she also makes the cutest little key chains - I must get the Unicorn. The tassel is from Haute Pink Fluff on etsy and she make the most amazing tassels in all colors and sizes.
I am using this booklet I made with the Crate Paper Poolside collection for his Duo. This was the fist time Linden has been asked to compete with a Duo and he was very excited. The song is Stud and A Babe and it is perfect for him. He gets to play a nerd who turns into a stud who decides being a nerd is better. Love it!
Lots of practicing and getting together a costumes and they were ready for their first performance at a retirement home. They were a big hit and were treated to ice cream after the show,
They had a company recital for all the Solos/Duos and Trios competing this year and seeing them in full costume on stage was awesome. They killed it.
They had their first compeition and came first place in their division. So proud.
Come back next week and I will show you book two - the Pirate edition.
Today is 5 days until Star Wars day (May 4th) and we are watching Episode 2 - Attack of the Clones tonight. Here is a picture of my planner and some cute notebook I picked up at Target.
To complete this week I used more of the skinny Washi Tape in different colors and added the Bobba Fett and Storm Trooper stickers (and for you die hard Star Wars fans, yes I know it's not a clone trooper but I had to use what I had lol)
Stop by tomorrow for another episode of Star Wars - The countdown.
Our family are all big Star Wars fan and can't wait for May 4th - Star Wars Day. We usually try and watch all the movies on that day but now with 7 movies to watch we decided to do a movie a night for 7 days leading up to May 4th and of course I had to add it to my planner!
I am using my Simple Stories Black Carpe Diem planner for these weeks and some cute stickers I found at Target a while back.
April 28th the countdown starts with Episode 1 - The Phantom Menace. I added the droid stickers to this date as one of my favorite quotes from the movie is the naked C3-PO quote.
I added some wood stars, yellow washi tape and enamel dots to finish it up.
I am doing the same thing for each day, adding the movie we will be watching and a favorite quote as well as some cute stickers. Stop by tomorrow for the next episode of Star Wars - the countdown!
I decided to turn my light pink Color Crush Planner into a creative planner for myself. It will be used to write down ideas, plan videos and blog posts and keep myself on schedule,
You can see the video on how I created it on my channel today.
I wanted this planner to inspire me as soon as open it so I am going to add some of my favorite things to the pages. I used the My Minds Eye On Trend 2 collection filled with beautiful colours and fun icons to make the dividers. I traced the old dividers onto patterned paper and cut them out.
I layered tags, die cuts, patterned paper and embellishments on each divider.
I will share rest of the inside pages Wednesday showing how I plan to use the inside pages and planner portion to keep myself on track.
