Zutter 11 for '11 Blog Hop
I am so excited to be a part of Zutter's 11 for '11 Blog Hop. The blog hop will run January 5th to January 12th at 5pm! Just for stopping by Zutter is giving everyone 11% off everything that isn't all ready on sale at their store, Binditall.com . Just enter CODE: Zutter11 Valid through January 31 only.
January is always a time to look ahead and start the new year with a fresh optimism and outlook. I have followed Ali Edwards "ONE WORD" for the last few years and thought I would use it as a starting point for a journal for 2011. My word for this year is "LIVE" and in 2011 I really want to live my life to the fullest and part of that is knowing exactly what I want in my life now and in the future.
To make this mini album I started with a 6" x 6" Flat Spine Cover-All and covered it with Sticky Back Canvas by Claudine Hellmuth Studio. I then printed out one of my favorite photos of my family on the Sticky Back Canvas and adhered it to a piece of Cosmo Cricket paper just a bit smaller than my cover.
For the title I cut out some letters and glued them to the Sticky Back Canvas. Cosmo Cricket had a journaling strip that was perfect for this album. "Live for the moments you can't put into words". I then glued it onto the front of the album.
For the inside pages I went through my stash and found as many pages as I could of either lined paper or calendar paper and cut them to 6" x 6" and bound them with my Bind-It-All machine using 1" Antique Brass Owires.
On the first page I gave the definition for "LIVE" and how I hope to make that happen in 2011.
Zutter is giving away a prize of a Zutter supply pack of "Owire, covers, Cover-Alls and surprises" on each stop so please head over to the Zutter Zisters blogs below and check out their awesome projects!
