Pockets
I love making mini albums with pockets that can be used for just about anything. Journaling, photos, memorabilia etc. Head on over to the Bind-It-All blog today to see 2 examples of mini albums I made for my purse that have pockets.
This is one of them - my business card holder.

Card Challenge
It's my turn to post a challenge over at WE SCRAP. My challenge is all about cards! Using the September Kit - Urban Skies I made a card box set. I really loved the Jenni Bowlin butterflies in this kit. Here's a sneak peek at my challenge:

Scrapbook Star - Design Team Challenge
It's November 15th and that means it's time for Scrapbook Star's Design Team Challenges! Head on over to Scrapbook Star to play along.
I used the Basic Grey Jovial line from the store for my challenge. This line is so awesome - love the colors and the silly snowmen (my favorite is the one with the cat in his hat). Here's my layout:

More Mitten Weather cards!
Well this is the last post of Mitten Weather cards. I loved using this line and still have a few other projects to share in a few days.
For the first card I used a felt coaster I bought at Michaels last year. I think it adds a great accent.
For the second card I used my paper piercer to add interest to my scallop border.
Thanks for stopping by - hope you have a great day!

Lest We Forget!

The flurry continues...
For the next few cards I used the purple colors that are on the Mitten Weather papers and the fun glitter accents from the Ready-Set-Chip.
For this one I used the glitter buttons from the Ready-Set-Chip and cut them in half so I could use them as a scallop border around the tag.
For the second card I used the pretty snowflakes as an accent.
Have a great day! Thanks for stopping by!

Linden's Theatre Debut
This was in the Delta Optimist this weekend...
(Linden is front left)
The Sidekick Players are doing Canadian playwright Norm Foster's Dear Santa in December and Linden is so excited to be making his theatre debut. I know he'll be the hit of the show! I am one proud Mommy - can't wait to see it.
If you would like to support him you can find more information about tickets and show dates on their facebook page

It's a flurry of Mitten Weather
Even though it's not snowing here I am busy working on some craft fair projects using the new Cosmo Cricket line Mitten Weather. So over the next few days I will be posting a few cards, projects and ornaments using this line.
First I thought I would show some really quick and easy cards using the Elements paper. I loved the greens and reds in this line and thought that twine would work perfect with them.

Magnetic Tin
My last few days at I'm Impressed I was asked to make something with the Staples office supply magnetic tins we had and this is what I came up with.
I used one of the techniques from Jennifer McGuires Thinking Inking series on Two Peas for the background and stamped snowflakes and the snowman and to create a little scene inside the tin. As the back of the tin is magnetic you can put it on your fridge over the holidays.

Christmas Cards
I can't believe it's all ready that time. Time to start making my Christmas cards...I make quite a few so I need to get an early start on them so I am not rushing around at the last minute making them. This year I really wanted to play around and make some fun cards and the Echo Park line was perfect for this step card.
The cute little snowmen and the trees were perfect for cutting out and popping up to make this little scene card.
I was thinking of adding it to my next class as a project.
