Happy

I think this is one of my favorite layouts.  I don't know if it's the amazing paper and embellishments from Crate Paper or the photos.  The stage is definitely my son's happy place.  I love seeing him and his friends when they are performing and just being goof balls.

I added some fun chipboard embellishments and frames to this layout.

I also added some journalling onto a card and hid it behind the photo.

Dance Mom Planner Pages Part 3

I finally got my last Dance Mom pages made and printed.  My son also takes voice lessons and does a lot of recitals so I needed to add a specific page for that.

These pages are more for the recitals and more general things that is why I left lots of space for special notes.

I added some patterned paper, Dear Lizzy puffy heart stickers and Maggie Holmes resin flower to pretty them up.

If you are interested in adding these pages to your planner please send me a request and I will email the PDF for you to use for free.

Rhys is 16!

I can't believe Rhys is 16 today - where did the time go?  He is one of the most amazing kids I know and I am so proud to be his Mom.  Happy Birthday Rhys!

Document

It's so important to document our lives. If we don't who will?  One of my favorite things to document is my son's love for music and dance. He lights up when he is on stage.

This year he is doing the best Musical Theatre routine. I think it's my favorite - but I think I say that every year lol.

I used the Crate Paper Kiss Kiss collection for this layout,  Even though it's a Valentine's collection it works for so much more. I cut out the Valentine's in the Happy Day die cut to use for this layout.

I love the touches of gold in this collection!

Crate Paper + Epiphany Crafts

This week is card week over at the Epiphany Crafts Blog.  I have been playing with the Kiss Kiss Collection from Crate Paper and even thought it's a Valentine's themed collection it can be used for so much more.

I made three cards with this collection and the Epiphany Crafts Shape Studio Tools. One is a Friend card, one is an anniversary card and the last one is a card for my Mom for Mother's Day.

I thought the Epiphany Crafts Shape Studio Tool Flower 25 was perfect for this Sweetest Friend card.

I used the Epiphany Crafts Shape Studio Tool Heart 25 for the Anniversary and Mother's Day cards.

I added some ink around the edges of the cards and ink splatters to two of them to finish them off.

Make sure you head on over to the Epiphany Crafts Blog for more great card ideas using their awesome tools.

Captured

My April challenge at Scrapbook Nerd is using chipboard. I was having trouble with my printer and the only photos I had printed were some Disneyland Iphone photos.  I grabbed my collection of chipboard frames (and I have a lot) and set about making this super fun mini album.

I love how chunky it is and how easily it came together.  The cover photo is of the first day going down Main Street to the castle - one of my favorite sights!  For those of you who don't know me I am kind of a Disney fanatic and would love to live there ;)

I looked through my photos and added them to a frame then added just a few embellishments.  This shot was on a really cloudy day at California Adventure but the shot still turned out great.

I also added some journalling cards and chipboard embellishments through out this whole album.

A small World.  I know the music annoys most people but I love it!

\
Dumbo - believe it or not after being to Disneyland 8 times this was the first time the boys rode on Dumbo lol.

My favorite ride - Pirates of the Caribbean.

Astro Blasters.

World of Color show - so amazing.

I love this photo of the boys on Splashdown - really they are enjoying it.

First time at Cars Land :)

I love making Disney albums it brings back the happiness and magic I feel when I am there.  I have also been enjoying the new podcast Magic Memory Keepers by Tracie Claiborne - I mean Disney and Scrapbooking what more could I ask for. You can listen to her podcast here http://magicmemorykeepers.blogspot.ca/.
