My Loves

I was so excited that Epiphany Crafts teamed up with Pink Paislee this week, they have some amazing collections. I used the Luxe Collection and the She Art Collection by Christy Tomlinson for this layout.
My Loves
One of my favorite trends right now is graphic black and white with florals and color. I knew when I saw the papers that I wanted to incorporate this trend. I love to fussy cut and the beautiful flower print paper was perfect for this. I cut out the flowers and layered them along the right side of black and white heart paper. I used foam tape to pop up some of the flowers for more dimension.
My LovesCU1
I added some Epiphany Crafts Shape Studio Tool Heart 25 to the floral arrangement. I also used the Button Studio Tool Round 25 to create a banner. I used black thread and threaded all the punched circles onto it then strung it up in the right corner.
My LovesCU2
I used some of the papers from the She Art 6 x 6 paper pad and the coffee filter sheets doodles to add some layers under my photos and added my title with the Luxe black alphabet.

Shaped Cards

This week on the Imaginisce Blog we are creating shaped cards.  I had so much fun playing with the Imaginisce Silhouette files for these cards, I used the compass and tent files and cut them out using the Outdoor Adventure collection.

For the compass I cut out the outline shape twice and used my I-top and added a brad to the top to hold the card closed.

For the tent card I cut the tent shape twice and glued the very top of the two pieces together.

Love You More

It's summer break, that means less time to scrap with the kids home.  So today is just another quick card share today using the Dear Lizzy Lucky Charm Collection, I still love the mason jars you see everywhere so fun.

I added the chipboard arrows and some twine to finish it off.

Hope your summer is fun so far!  Thanks for stopping by today!

FAB!

Just a quick card share today - Fab!

Made with the Krafty Kit from Scrapbook Nerd.  I used the Kraft paper with white circles for the base of the card.

I popped up the fun Simple Stories round stickers.

To finish it off I added some gesso and then sandpapered the edges.

So fun.  Thanks for stopping by.

Imaginisce Black Ice

Imaginisce has a new release party happening this week with their new collection called Black Ice.  I made several projects with this beautiful black and white collection.

This collection is perfect for graduation, anniversaries, weddings or any more formal events or occasions.

I used the Black Ice Invitations to create some gift bags which could be used for any occasion.

I cut the invitation to fit the white paper bag, then used Glam Rocks and Hot Rocks to embellish them.

For my second project I created a wedding guest book and banner.

For the guest book I bound together some plain white cardstock and added a chipboard cover.  I covered it with the patterned paper and cut out the "guest" title with my Silhouette.

I hand cut some of the pretty flowers from another of the patterned papers and added them along with some Glam Rocks to the cover.

For the banner I cut the Mr & Mrs with my Silhouette and added them to the striped paper.  To decorate it a little more I cut out a bow tie for the Mr side and made a bouquet of flowers for the Mrs side.

Head on over to the Imaginisce blog to see how all the other designers used this beautiful collection.

Hi Fleur here, this week is cards week on the blog. I love making handmade cards and I know most of my friends and family appreciate receiving them too. I created two cards for someone feeling under the weather or just someone who needs a hug.

GetWellCards

For my first card I used the new Crate Paper Pier collection and turned one of the chipboard frames into a kleenex box. I popped it up on foam tape and added a white paper bag behind it to look like kleenex.

I created a hexagon border along the bottom. The hexagons on the 6 x 6 paper pad were almost perfect to use with the Epiphany Crafts Shape Studio Tool Hexagon 25.

I added some twine and sequins to finish off the card.

For my second card I wanted a more general card and what better than a hug to cheer someone up?

GetWellCards2

I really love the Epiphany Crafts Shape Studio Tool Heart 25, it's so versatile and can be used for any occasion.

GetWellCards2cu2

I used another of the chipboard frames to add my stamped sentiment. For the hug I covered some foam letter stickers with sequins.

These cards are sure to make someone feel better.

Today

Here is February's version of my Insta Mini.  I plan on doing one every month using my favorite collections and Instagram photos from the month.  Yes I am a little behind but I love making mini's and plan on getting caught up this month!

For this mini album I used the Dear Lizzy Lucky Charm collection - one of my favorites right now.  to keep this album quick and simple I cut out 4x6 papers added the photos and embellishments then I used a binder ring to bind it together.

Some of the highlights from this month:

My husband had to work at Gottacon in Victoria so we all decided to go and check it out,   It was a weekend which was a comic book, video game, card game, model heaven for the boys.  There were all sorts of characters walking around including these Star Wars guys.

My son bought a steam punk gas mask - pretty cool.

My son also lost his favorite teacher ever - it was a tough day.

My youngest has been having some breathing issues and we had to have him tested for Asthma - as always he was a total goof playing with the nose clips, he even asked to bring them home.

February is one of the best months my son and I share the same birthday.  Here he is celebrating with some of his friends.

We also get to go skiing/snowboarding every February to Whistler.  I don't ski but the boys all love it.

Me on my birthday - I try and take a photo of myself every year on my birthday.  I am the photographer in the family so I am rarely in the photos myself.

This is the first year we let our oldest go snowboarding with a friend and no parents.  I worried all day but he came back with a big grin on his face, its so tough letting them grow up!

Well another month done.  I can't believe how fast time is going these days.
