Wedding Guest Book

A friend of mine tied the knot a few weeks ago and asked me to make her a Guest Book for her wedding.

I was so happy I had enough of the gorgeous Black Ice collection left from Imaginisce to make her this book.

I added some buttons in the color of her wedding.

I also added the couples initials on the front of the Guest Book.

Inside I wrote a quick note on  one of the Black Ice Invitations and added it to the front of the Guest Book.  The bride of course looked beautiful and they loved their book.

Thanks for stopping by.

Halloween Fun

I love Halloween it's always been one of my favorite holidays. My family loves to make our own costumes and decorations for the house. This Halloween I made some fun Halloween jewelry pieces and a keychain.

First up is the keychain. I used the Epiphany Crafts Rhinestone Round 25 Charm and colored it with black StazOn Ink and a black Copic Marker.

I used the Epiphany Crafts Shape Studio Tool Round 25 and punched out the spider from patterned paper, added the coordinating Bubble Cap and set it in the metal charm.

I found an old keychain I wasn't using anymore and added the charm to it.

Halloween Gift Bags

I love Halloween, one of my favorite times of the year!  We usually go all out and that includes giving my friends some spooky treats.

I made these cute little treat bags and will fill them full of their favorite Halloween candies.

For the two black bags I used the Black Ice collections to make the bags and used Hot Rocks to make a blinged out ghost and to add some eyes to my bat and some bling to the clothespin.

For the orange treat bag I used the new Bushel of Fall collection and added some of the beautiful fall die cuts.

I can't wait to give these out.  Thanks for stopping by.

Simple Stories Say Cheese Cards

As always when I am using kits I try and use up my scraps on cards.  After making some fun projects and a mini album with my Scrapbook Nerd October Simple Stories Say Cheese kit I made a few cards.

For the first card I used one of the Snap pockets and made a gift card holder.  I created the background of this card with left over strips of paper.

I added the letter stickers for the sentiment and some twine and a sticker on the pocket.

This kit also had some balloon images so I used those on two of the cards with some journaling cards and you have a super fast fun birthday card.

Fall Release #2

Here is the second layout I created for the Imaginisce Fall Release Party.

I used my Silhouette to cut out the tree and leaves and created a beautiful fall layout.  The colors in this collection are fabulous.

I love that my kids will still have a leaf fight when the leaves have fallen even though they are getting older now.  Hopefully they never get too old for it.

Fall Release from Imaginisce

This week on the Imaginisce blog is the release party for their new fall collection which is one of my favorite collections, I loved the colors and patterns!

For my first layout I wanted to create a background similar to the Aztec patterns that are so popular right now in scrapbooking and fashion.

I found a pattern I liked on Pinterest and just fussy cut the papers until I had an entire sheet filled.

Then all I had to do to finish it off was add a few photos and a title.

Head on over to the Imaginisce Blog for a chance to win then come back next week to see another project using this beautiful collection.

Thanks for stopping by.

Hip Hop

I used the Simple Stories Say Cheese collection to finish another page of my son's Portfolio/Scrapbook.

I am really enjoying doing these pages they are a mix of traditional scrapbooking for the professional photos and using the Project Life pockets for all the miscellaneous photos I have taken of him.

This was his first year in Hip Hop and he loved it.  It so nice he has two good friends in his class too.

Thanks for stopping by.

Layout Tag

This summer we played a game of layout tag over at Scrapbook Nerd, I love playing these seeing how the layouts change over the course of the game.

The Inspiration layout was this layout by one of my favorite scrapbookers Shannon Tidwell.

And here was the layout I created using her inspiration.

You can see the rest of the layout tag over at the Scrapbook Nerd Forum.

Peace Love Joy - My First Christmas post!

This week Lawn Fawn and Epiphany Crafts teamed up for a fun week.  I really love the beautiful colors and cute patterns in the new Lawn Fawn Peace Joy Love collection. I used the 6x6 paper pad to create a shaker card. I cut out the slide box and Christmas trees with my Silhouette and arranged them to create a little winter scene. Then I added some of the Peace Joy Love Mixed Sequins to create the shaker. I also added some of the sequins to the background Bokah paper which I love.

To finish off the card I used the Lawn Fawn Milo's ABC stamps to spell out joy and used the Epiphany Crafts Shape Studio Tool Pennant 25 and the coordinating Bubble Caps for the sentiment. These stamps were the perfect size for them.

I also used the 6x6 paper pad to make some mini tags for presents. I cut out the tag sheet added them to patterned paper and used a corner rounder on two of the corners.

I used the Epiphany Crafts Shape Studio Circle 14, Star 25, Square 25 and Heart 14 and coordinating Bubble Caps to make some cute embellishments. To finish them off I used the Lawn Fawn Silver Sparkle Single Cord to attach them to presents.
