My travels...

I love to have a little book to take with me when I travel to write down memories so when I come back and scrapbook them I have more details than I would probably remember.

I made this little tag mini with the Amy Tangerine collection.

I love the little paper clips that come in various shapes.  Here I used the airplane.

I also love the 3 dimensional stickers that matched the paper.

Graduation

I can't believe my son will be graduating from Grade 7 and going into High School this year.  As I am on the Grad Committe and planning the grad luncheon I needed to make some invitations.  I saw similar cards to these with the confetti in them and loved how they looked.  Here is my take on them:

It's official...

I have a teenager in the house!  13 years ago today Rhys was born, now 13 years later I have the most wonderful son in the world!  He has grown up to be an amazing young man!  Here's a look back :)

The Best Days...

Are crafty days!  My boss had a birthday coming up so I made her this card with the new My Minds Eye papers.  I wish every day could be a crafty day :)

I love the new My Minds Eye papers - all those gorgeous wood grains.  I made this layout with photos of my friend Maria and her daughter Graziella.

I loved the scalloped paper and maching twine and stickers too.

I also love their buttons - the whole collection is beautiful.

Little One

I am so excited that another family member is having a baby.  It seems like everyone is having babies these days, makes me want another one (not lol).

I made this card for them with the My Little Shoebox paper and a cute little sentiment sticker from My Minds Eye.  I think I need to get all of these sentiment sticker sheets they are perfect for cards.

I added a little twine for the kite tails and some clouds popped up on foam tape to add dimension.  Now to get it in the mail.  Thanks for stopping by.

Splendor in the Grass

I love poetry it's a great way to add titles to my layouts when I get stuck.  Everytime I looked at this picture the line "splendor in the grass" by William Wordsworth so I knew I would have to use it in the title.

For this layout I used Amy Tangerine's papers, paper clips and felt embellishments (love the camera) and Cosmo Cricket chipboard letters.

Boy Cards

I find boy cards so difficult to do but with banners still being a strong trend I find they work really well for birthday cards for boys or girls.

On this card I used the Echo Park For the Record collection, My Stamp Box and Hero Arts stamps for the banners and some October Afternoon sprinklers.

I love the confetti feeling the Sprinklers added to the card and I couldn't help but add some twine and a button to finish off the card.
