Sympathy Cards

Sympathy cards are one of the more difficult cards to make but when I do make them I like to try and keep them simple and elegant.
For the first card I used a brown and gold color scheme and framed the sentiment with a chipboard frame, a flower and some beautiful Epiphany Crafts Buttons Studio buttons in the Round 25 and Round 14 sizes. They were the perfect elegant touch for this card.

For my second card I used the Epiphany Crafts Shape Studio Tool Heart 25 to create a heart flower, I layered the hearts in a circle and then added an Epiphany Crafts Buttons Studio button in the Round 25 to the centre of the flower. I added the flower to a doily I inked up using a Hero Arts Ink Dauber.

Very pretty!
I have a sentiment stamp I love to use on sympathy cards with the saying "I hope you know how much I care" in small type.
