Friday inspiration - Mixed Media

It's time for another Inspiration Friday with Joy and this week we are taking our inspiration from Mixed Media.  I have to say I am not really into mixed media but I did just buy a watercolor set and decided to take the plunge.  You can watch my video here:

For my take on this challenge I took a black and white background page and watercolored the arrows to go with the photo. I know not too artsy but it was definitely out of my box.

I love how it ended up and had fun playing withe the watercolors so I might keep playing and see where it takes me.

Unicorn Mini Pinata

My son had an amazing idea to turn these cute donkey pinatas into unicorns.

 I started with the We R Memory Keepers mini donkey pinatas, added some fringed tissue and a horn and voila a cute mini unicorn. So fun!

I can't wait to give these to the girls I know they will love them :)
