I love the new Love Notes collection from Crate Paper, especially the old school tape cassette images. Instantly I knew I wanted to alter an old tape cassette and include some of my favorite songs in a little mini album.
I covered the inside of the tape cassette with patterned papers and added the chipboard tape and flair badge to the outside.
I cut the 6x6 paper pad down to fit inside the tape cassette.
On each page I added some strips of paper, embellishments and some of my favorite songs.
Tainted Love was one of my favorites growing up and it still is.
My favorite Christmas song is Last Christmas by Wham.
I love the Welcome song by Phil Collins. It's from the movie Brother Bear but it was used as the song from the Disneyland parade for several years and always brings back great memories.
I decided to try my hand at doing some of the script painting I have been seeing everywhere and loved it. I also made the Mickey the same way.
I could listen to True Colors (the Phil Collins version) everyday I just love it. This song reminds me of my oldest son and was in fact the theme of his grad from elementary school.
This was the first song that I danced with Mike to, it was the first night we met.
For some reason Treasure by Bruno Mars was the top listened to song of 2014 on my play list so I included it - Bruno Mars is my youngest son's favorite. I love the stamped cassette image included in the collection - so perfect for this project.
There are still a few songs I need to add including Muse one of my favorite bands I just can't pick which song is my favorite they have so many good ones.
Thanks for stopping by.
