Cast Party

This month I got to play with Shimelle's new collection and I fell in love with it.  The theme this month at Scrapbook Nerd is "Stitching and Hand Sewing" so I broke out my stash of embroidery floss and got to work.

 

After my son performed in Aladdin we threw a cast party for the Aladdin cast and it was awesmazing (awesome and amazing) and the kids had so much fun.

 

I stitched around the last row of hearts for some added texture and fun.  I love the look of hand stitching on pages.

 

I used my Epiphany Crafts Heart Shape 25 punch to create a fun background.

 

I added some neutral thickers for my title.  I also decided to make an 8.5 x 11 layout too, when I started scrapbooking it was in this format and I still find it easier to create this size.
