Planner Love

I am still loving the Planner craze and I have many planners lol. They are all so beautiful I have a hard time saying no to them!

I have one planner I keep strictly to keep track of my son's dance/theater stuff which trust me is a lot.

I have been using my scrapbook stuff for this planner. The Crate Paper Poolside collection is perfect with my Teal Color Crush Planner.

Creative Planner Part 2

Friday I showed you the fun dividers I made for my creative planner and today I am sharing a little on the inside of the planner and how I will be using it.

The monthly calendar I will schedule all my video and blog posts. I will probably add some Instagram and Facebook posts to this calendar as well.

The weekly pages will be more details of what I need to do that week.

These pages will be for goals and to dos.

This section will be for general ideas and things I can video.

I love this new setup and I am hoping it keeps me on top of my game.

Plan With Me - Creative Planner

I decided to turn my light pink Color Crush Planner into a creative planner for myself. It will be used to write down ideas, plan videos and blog posts and keep myself on schedule,

You can see the video on how I created it on my channel today.

I wanted this planner to inspire me as soon as  open it so I am going to add some of my favorite things to the pages. I used the My Minds Eye On Trend 2 collection filled with beautiful colours and fun icons to make the dividers. I traced the old dividers onto patterned paper and cut them out.

I layered tags, die cuts, patterned paper and embellishments on each divider.

I will share rest of the inside pages Wednesday showing how I plan to use the inside pages and planner portion to keep myself on track.

365 - 2015

I finished my 365 album for 2015, I am pretty happy about that! I had 4 months to do as I had gotten a little behind. I used the Crate Paper Craft Market to do more stash busting.

I loved using this Webster's Pages Color Crush Planner book as the Album and I love how it looks all done - I can't wait to do this years!

My 365 Album - April 2015

I used the Crate Paper Journey collection to do my 365 Album - April 2015 page.

April was a pretty quiet month - the calm before the storm.  It was also the month my oldest turned 16 and got his learners license - how crazy is that!

I am really loving this mini stlye 365 this year I can get it done super quick.

Dance Mom Planner Pages Part 3

I finally got my last Dance Mom pages made and printed.  My son also takes voice lessons and does a lot of recitals so I needed to add a specific page for that.

These pages are more for the recitals and more general things that is why I left lots of space for special notes.

I added some patterned paper, Dear Lizzy puffy heart stickers and Maggie Holmes resin flower to pretty them up.

My 365 March 2015

I completed my 365 March 2015 pages.  Here is the first page with a list of the photos I took for the month and some washi tape and heart stickers.

Then I added the month view from my Collect App and used the Heidi Swapp flowers and Wshi tape for this page.  

I can't wait to see this album when it is completed for 2015.

April Planner Love

I thought I would share a few of my April Color Crush Planner Pages today. I am really loving having a paper planner again - My husband calls it my analogue calendar.

This is the April calendar at a glance - a little Washi tape and an Amy Tangerine heart clip.

Week of March 30th: I used some Crate Paper Journey chipboard and matched my Washi tape to it.

For the week of April 6th I used my Crate Paper stash again and added some fun stickers from the Kiss Kiss collection.

More Dance Mom Planner Pages

I am trying hard to get all my Dance Mom planner pages done so I can get organized but it's funny how life always gets in the way.  

For these pages I printed out the email informaion by pasting it into a preset size template I created in Microsoft Publisher.  Then I printed them and added them to some patterned paper and added some Washi tape to pretty them up.

We also had our first competition and they did amazing.  First place for Musical Theatre and he competed against himself in Hip Hop and got first and third place.  All three routines made top ten overall for the whole competition and his Coed Hip Hip placed third overall.  So proud of him.

I love that I can document his whole year in one place and I am thinking of ordering another Color Crush Planner and turning it into a Dance Mom Mini Album at the end of the year and transferring all these pages as well as adding some photos and programs from the year.

Guest Blogger at The Pocket Source

This month I had the opportunity to share some of my work over at The Pocket Source as a guest Blogger.  I shared my Project 365 Album that I am doing this year using my Color Crush Planner. 

This is my layout for February.  I added the vellum included when you get the planner for this month.

I used the day to day memory keeping insert to mark down what each photo of the day was.

I made this cute clip with my Epiphany Crafts Shape Studio Tool Heart 25.

On the back side I added my calendar shot for February, some journalling about the month and some of the beautiful flowers from the Maggie Holmes collection.

I am still loving using this as a mini and have several more on pre-order to make other mini albums.

Dance Mom Planner Page

I really wanted to get organized this year - what a perfect time for all these beautiful planners to be popular!  I loved the inserts that came with my Webster's Pages Color Crush Planner but I really wanted to have some very specific pages for my son's dance and couldn't find any that worked...so I ended up making some myself.

If you have a child or know a child that is in competitive dance you will know how all time consuming it can be, between classes, extra practices, recitals, on stage rehearsals, competitions, parades, and more recitals it seems like we live and breathe dance around here.  I wanted to keep track of all the information in my planner so it was handy all the time.

I created some Dance Mom pages that fit inside my Color Crush Planner and printed them out on thicker cardstock so I could add photos to them.  This is the first page I created and I will have one of these for each of the classes he is in (this year it's 5).  

It has space for the class information like date and time, instructor and music/name.  Then I created a space to list all the competitions he will have for each class.  The Company (or competitive) classes have to compete a minimum of three times but usually four times each).

I also wanted a space where I could add details of his costume and a photo of him dressed in each costume as a guide so when we pack up for recitals or competitions we have a reference point of what he is supposed to look like.  This costume is so awesome he loves the diamond sweats and plaid shirt and I love that he can wear it after dance is done for the year!

Planner Pages

I am having so much fun decorating my planner - I thought I would share one of my March planner pages. I used some Washi Tape along the bottom and some Dear Lizzy puffy stickers for embellishments

For the top I cut out some of the cut apart sheet and used a Maggie Holmes bobby pin clip as a page marker.

I love that this is something I can do on the go or in front of the TV.  I just use the Craft folio and take some cute supplies along with me.

I also wanted to share how I am doing my monthly page.  I am trying to keep it pretty simple and just write in important information and dates.

I also shared this photo on Instagram it's my really messy desk lol.
