I Heart Fall
It is now officially fall, the leaves are turning colors and the weather has definitely gotten colder. To welcome fall into our house I made a wall hanging for our entry way.
I cut the leaves from gold paper with my Silhouette and used some embroidery floss to hand stitch them. I used the Epiphany Crafts Shape Studio Tool of the month Heart 25 and punched out hearts for the centre of the leaves. I also added a heart to the title with the gold paper and coordinating Bubble Cap.

Inspired
Sometimes a certain collection just inspires me and that was the way it was with the Crate Paper Noted and Things collection. I loved everything I made with it.
I also made this quick canvas from a Michaels special, I think I paid 50 cents for the canvas in the clearance section.
I layered on some vellum, tags and stickers to make a quick decoration for my craft space.

PL catch up - 2X2 stlye
I needed a quick way to catch up on Project Life as I have gotten way behind this summer so I decided to try out the Simple Stories 2x2 size page protectors. I really loved this size and it got me caught up on a month in just an hour. The first size I used was the 2x2 pockets on the top and bottom with a 4x6 pocket in the middle.
I used one of the journaling cards from the new Crate Paper Notes and Things collection for the middle then filled 5 of the pockets with photos and one with some patterned paper.
I did the same on the other side and did some quick journaling on the card.
The next size I used was the straight 2x2 size which has a total of 12 pockets per page. I left one pocket empty on each row to add some journaling and embellishments.
I love how quickly these pages came together and how easy it was to do.
