Embellished Envelopes

Here in BC our teachers are on strike so no back to school for us, yet, but the other extracurricular activities are on as usual so I made some fun back to dance and singing gifts for my son's instructors.

 

I used the Crate Paper Notes and Things and my Silhouette to create the envelope and embellished them with lots of die cuts, and tags.

 

I hand cut the butterflies from patterned paper and used some old clothes pins to keep the envelopes closed.

 

I added the coordinating back side of the paper to the top flap and a strip along the bottom.

 

Then I just added layers and layers of paper, die cuts, sequins, punches etc.

 

I am going to fill these with some homemade cookies for them.
