Cards

I finished off my May Scrapbook Nerd kit the same way I always do with some cards.  I think I used every piece of this kit.  First up I used the cute telephone flare badge and made this fun card.

 

I added some Studio Calico mist and a black pen to add interest.

 

For my second card I really only had pink and black embellies left so I made this quick card. 

 

I added a cute pink flower for embellishment and that's it.

Exciting News

Mr. & Mrs.

Wedding season is just around the corner and I made these fun Mr. & Mrs. key chains for a wedding we have been invited to.

 

 

I used the Epiphany Crafts Shape Studio Tool Round 25 and the Metal Charms to create them.

 

I also used my Silhouette to make some cute gift boxes to put them into.  To finish off the boxes I made custom brads with the Epiphany Crafts Shape Studio Tool 14 and the Brad Settings.

 

 

I think these would also make a great wedding favor maybe with the couples initials on them.

Quick Card Share

I made a quick card using the little strips left over from the top of the Dear Lizzy Day Dreamer 6x6 paper pad.  I lined them up down the centre of a card and added a sticker for the sentiment.

 

I finished the card off with the super cute puffy heart stickers.  I love those things :)

This Happened

I know we all have the crazy Uncle in our family and ours is Uncle Johnson, the kids love him but he can be pretty crazy.  We don't get to see him often so when we do I try and get a quick shot of him with the boys.  He was only stopping by for 5 minutes on his way somewhere else so I wasn't really paying attention to what he was doing just trying to get a photo taken. 

 

 

At least it got my 14 year old to smile in the photo which he rarely does these days.

 

I used the Crate Paper Boys Rule collection which I am in love with.  It's RAD!

Snapshots of a Great Day

My last layout with  my Scrapbook Nerd April Kit, I used some photos from our California Adventure trip and did a grid design with the 3x3 October Afternoon Daily Flash cards.

 

 

 

I love the fun die cut pieces that were included in this collection.

 

I also used the mini market stickers to add my title and date.

Catching Up

I am doing pretty good staying caught up with my PL/365 album so far but I am running out of room in my album all ready so i have ordered a new one and can't wait to try the new 2x2 and 3x3 square page protectors.

 

I love the Easter Creme Egg McFlurries yum,  Linden lost a tooth, my Mom is awesome she brought us a Corned Beef pie for dinner.  Rhys at Memory Express buying a new gaming computer - we forked out $1,700.00 yikes.

 

Mike and Rhys spent the next day putting together "The Beast", Linden loved hanging out at Dave's with his friends.

 

I love playing with pretty things :)

 

We had on owl in our front tree for a few nights which was pretty cool, the weather was awesome this week so the kids got out their scooters.

 

My oldest hates getting his picture taken, I don't blame him I take a lot of photos but I wanted him to know no matter what I will still keep taking photos even if he doesn't smile or tries to ruin them - I will find a way!!

Big Time Fun

I used some of the Fancy Pants Trend Setter papers for this layout about my son's Big Time Rush concert.  I loved the banners and used them down the side of the layout.

 

I am still loving the Amy Tangerine script words and used the "seriously" word for part of my title, then finished it off with the Fancy Pants letter stickers.

I also used the letter stickers to add BTR to the flare badge.

 

I added some of the star stickers to the star paper and used the stickers like washi at the top of the three photos.  We had so much fun at this concert.
