Happy National Scrapbook Day

We are celebrating over at Scrapbook Nerd with a NSD online crop today.  My first challenge is up and it's all about showing the LOVE!! 

 

I love scrapbooking - I have been scrapping since the birth of my first son - 15 years ago.  I love documenting our lives and just having fun playing with pretty paper and embellishments.  One of my favorite designers is Elizabeth Kartchner also know as Dear Lizzy and her collections are always on my list of must haves.

I created this layout for a friend, my husbands snapped this gorgeous picture of her daughter after a competition one day and I was so happy to get to use it.  Having 2 boys I don't get to do girly layouts very often.  I used the heart wood veneer and the 6x6 paper pad and covered most of the hearts then just a few embellishments and - well I didn't want to give it away lol.

 

So my challenge is to add some hearts to your project and upload it over at Scrapbook Nerd for a chance at some prizes.
