I wanted to share how I set up my daily sheets in my Carpe Diem to prepare for the month ahead. I try and get them done at least a week or two before the end of the month and sometimes when I have time I will do 2 or three months ahead. I am keeping it pretty simple just using the washi tape to separate the days. I add in the usual work and extracurricular kids stuff first.
Then I fill in the birthdays and any other important events and highlight those with stickers.
I keep the post it note holder bookmark from Simple Stories on the day I am working on and then if I need to make a quick note I have one right there.
Then I add in the insert for my Project 365 and pick a coloured number that works with the pattern on the paper. I clip that in with one of the magnet clips. You can see I have all ready added 2 photos that I printed out.
I am using the Carpe Diem A5 planner from Simple Stories to do my Project 365. I finally got around to finishing January up and so far I love it. On the last page of the month inserts there is a blank lined page so I numbered it 1 - 31 for the days of the month then briefly wrote a description of the photo I took that day.
I added a Simple Stories insert by adding washi tape and re-punching the holes then added photos from the month using the number stickers that come with the planner collection on the photos.
So far I am in love with this. The planner part has everything we do from day to day then the insert will have photos highlighting the month. The Planner world and the Scrapbooking world all in one - BAM!
I am using the Simple Stories Carpe Diem planner for a planner/my 365 album this year. Here is how I am setting it up (you can see a video on my YouTube channel).
I am using the Robin Egg planner look how gorgeous it is.
I added a Maggie Holmes tassel that matched perfectly and used the inside pockets for extra stickers and accessories.
This is the monthly view and I will keep that one pretty simple just the important stuff.
I love the little sticky note today divider and will get lots of use out of these cute sticky notes.
The week view has plenty of room to write and decorate.
I will also be adding in page protectors to add my photos, this is a Simple Stories 2x2 page protector and I just re-punched the holes so it fit on the rings,
I will be adding my photos from every day and using the last note page to write down what went on that month and what each photo was about.
I can't wait to start using this planner it's so pretty.
I had so much fun making some planner flags with my Epiphany Crafts Pennant tool and the new stamps that coordinate with them. First I stamped them all on some patterned paper.
Then I added some stickers and the coordinating Bubble Caps and added them to my planner.
I love how they turned out. For this week I am using the October The Planner Society kit for my MAMBI Happy Planner.
I would love to see how you use your Epiphany Crafts tools in your planner!
So I haven't even gotten my planner in the mail yet (It is taking forever) and my hubby brought me back a whole bunch of goodies from his trip to California. He stopped at the Paper Source, Target and several other stores and got some really cute fun stuff!
I love the little gold polka dot tin from Target my hubby knows me so well. I also love the paper clips and gold heart doilies can't wait to use them all.
I also love the cute Toy Story pencil case that was from Daiso. I have no idea what I am going to do with the pom poms but I will find a way to use them!
